A substantial spelter sculptural piece in the form of two seagulls in flight over a wave, this lovely piece is signed H. Lechesne on the base, and is stamped "Fabrication Francaise, Paris, Made in France" at the back.

- Large and very heavy, despite being hollow at the base.
- Henri Lechesne was a French artist born in the 19th century and known for his seagull pieces.

This decorative piece is large and will make a great statement piece for the interior of a large room, perhaps displayed on a centre table.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
