A handsome and very heavy (361.6 Grams / 11.62 Troy Ounces) standing on four beautiful shaped and pierced legs.

The lid of the box has a central dome to the lid with a central vacant circular cartouche surrounded with an engine turned decoration. The edge to the base and lid has a beautifully cast raised border.

The hinged lid opens to reveal a lavishly gilded interior and the base lined in a navy blue velvet.

The full hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1911 together with the makers mark for the well renowned silversmith, Levi and Salaman. Below this hallmark, the London retailer is engraved, Lund, 57 Cornhill, London.

Excellent condition and quality measuring 5 1/8" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" tall.
