Stunning large silver dressing table mirror by William Comyns in a beautiful romantic heart shape. The frame is embossed with foliage and scrolls with cherubs playing instruments and birds interspersed around. There is a vacant cartouche at the top. The glass is bevelled in a heart shape. Set on the original purple velvet background with easel back. Hallmarked for London 1904.

It measures 40cm by 30cm. Condition is very good with no damage I can see to the silver bar a tiny loss to the end of a scroll right at the bottom and light surface wear for age and use. A few light marks to the glass and the velvet is faded and worn from age. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
