fabulous gothic carved oak 'throne' chair / X frame chair, the back with carved ' grotesque ' heads and decorative details, scroll arms, lovely ornate carving to the frame including a heraldic lion, colourful carpet type upholstery.
normal marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use, wear and tear to the upholstery and an historic repair ( not obvious nor affecting the appearance of functionality of the piece ) but overall this is a lovely quality chair, very imposing and in good original condition.
