This is a rare pair of Chinese shell pictures with superb craftsmanship featuring birds in foliage and wonderful floral blooms. These original shell pictures are crafted in China and date back to the mid 20th Century. The intricate detailing and beautiful colours make these a very appealing pair. The pictures are made of natural shells and depict lovely birds in their natural habitat. The attention to detail in the artistry is impressive, and the pictures are in excellent condition. Both are signed by the artist and are beautifully mounted in their original deep frames with cast metal hangers.
The pictures measure 44 cms by 25 cms by 4 cms deep overall.
