This is a wonderful 19th century oil on canvas still life painting in the Dutch 18th Century style dating from around 1860. The large urn filled with beautiful flowers rests on a sienna marble plinth, in an outdoor setting with trees, clouds and blue sky beyond. The painting is beautifully detailed and finely executed with a bold, rich depth of colours and a grand stately home appeal to the work.
This is one of two similar paintings we have recently purchased that came from the same property. The other is shown in the last photograph here and is available separately in our other listed items.
The picture here measures 86 cms by 74 cms overall including the frame.
