This is a good quality 19th century gilt frame in excellent condition dating from around 1870.
The gilding is the original, in lovely condition and all the gesso moulding is in really good order.
The large frame measures 88 cms by 101 cms overall.
The viewing aperture is 64.5 by 77 cms.
The opening at the back to receive the painting is 67 cms by 80 cms.
