A wonderful and highly decorative spirit barrel standing on a natuarlistic stand in the form of tree branches tied with rope. The glass barrel is engraved and wrapped with silver straps to appear like a coopered Oak barrel.

There is a screw bung to the top and a working spigot to dispense the contents and a miniature bucket or pail swings on the spigot to catch any stray drips. What makes this very unusual is the base inset with a Victorian coin with Queen Victoria's head.

Dating to around 1890, it remains in superb condition. The stand measures 7 1/2" x 5" standing 9" tall. The barrel including the spigot measures 10" in length.
