Gilt framed Pier Glass Wall Mirror
Carved and Gilt Wall Mirror
This is an extremely decorative and impressive vintage Pier Glass.
It has a gilt wood frame, embellished with deeply carved classical shell and floral swag decoration and a central female mask. Her floral head dress and tiara suggest a style of the 1920's, and I think this is a true reflection of its age.
It has its original beveled glass mirror plate which is in very good condition and offers a true reflection.
The gilt is a little worn in places commensurate with age.
