A top quality antique figural inkwell cast from bronze with exquisite detail and smothered in gold, professionally cleaned to create a show-stopping desk-top heirloom.

The owl with his two glass eyes sits on a tree branch leading to a hollowed out tree trunk used to store one or more dip pens (pen not included).

A heavy, stylish piece in excellent condition dating to c.1890, late Victorian in era and English in origin. 6 1/2" x 5" x 6" tall.
