Georgian Tail Docker by Long of London
Fine quality early 19th century Georgian rosewood and brass handled horse tail docking tool by LONG of LONDON. Heavy steel blade with rosewood and brass scale handles. The blade stamped with the makers name with the Georgian crown mark above. The item is in very good condition for age, there is no pitting to the blade. I believe this is Joseph Long of London who specialised in making certain tools and scientific instruments from 1821 - 1846.
