This is an antique style mahogany leather pedestal desk, circa 1950 styled in the period of the George III era. The desk features a single panel red and gold leather tooled insert on the top, rectangular chamfered pedestals, dove tailed drawer construction, gun metal swan neck handles, large filing drawer, decorated external panels terminating in Georgian style bracket feet. The desk features a working key to the top three drawers. The desk can either stand in the centre of a room or against a wall. The pedestals, frame and drawer bottoms and sides are constructed of engineered timber with a mahogany veneer. The desk dismantles into three sections (top and two pedestals) for easy transportation. This is a sought after sized desk.

Condition Report
The desk and leather is in very good condition and is commensurate with its age. There are some old use marks to the leather which can be seen in the photos - these marks add to the character and does not constitute as damage. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the wooden desk but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are some small marks inside the drawers but nothing significant. The desk has a working key which operates the three top drawers only. The drawers below do not feature locks. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

UK Returns & Refunds
A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. The buyer is required to cover the cost of return transit – the collection cost is the same as the delivery cost. You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. If you decide to return the item at the point of delivery, you will only pay for the delivery cost. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
