A handsome large English antique Georgian solid silver pocket snuff box by the silversmith John Shaw. Assayed in Birmingham 1820

Has an inset hinged silver lid and is decorated with fine reeded engine-turned engraving and has an attractive embossed floral border edge rim.

Beautiful original fully gilt-lined interior and with vacant cartouche.
