An interesting Georgian papier mache snuff box, circular form, the lid painted with mother and child. The illustration is titled 'The Morning Walk'.

The papier mâché box was used to store snuff, a powdered form of tobacco, which was popular in the 1700s and 1800s for its stimulating nicotine boost.

This charming box would make a wonderful addition to any collection! In good condition for its age, some minor age related wear.
