A handsome antique Georgian mahogany chair dating from the early 19th Century. The reeded oblong top-rail and ebony strung crossbar above a drop-in seat on square tapered legs united by cross strechers. It has been newly re-upholstered in a cream velour fabric. Good colour and patina. A beautiful statement piece that would make a handsome desk chair.

Good colour and patina. Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered. An old repair to the front leg (solid and sturdy). A small piece missing to front of seat rail. (see photo)
