Georgian Hanging Oak Corner Cupboard
This is a high quality 18th Century Georgian Oak Hanging Corner Cupboard. It would date to about 1740.
The door has a deep, raised fielded arched panel and is framed with a cockbeaded edge, all original and complete. There are no splits or cracks to the panel, and each joint of the frame is neatly pegged with small oak dowels (See photos).
The brass H hinges are original, as is the escutcheon. The lock is an old replacement. It has a working key.
Inside, the cabinet has an antique worn blue painted surface. There are 3 profiled shelved and the whole of the interior is in very good clean condition ready for use.
Excellent condition throughout.
