Georgian overmantle or wall mirror C1800. A rare early mirror.
This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character. Great patinated frame with some losses, minor repairs and touching up/refinishing over the years (some charming aging and wear to the finishes)… looks great.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location. No loose joints.
Early period mirrored glass (typical two part mirror plates, as they couldn't make mirror glass this large at this period) with medium oxidation and other age related imperfections. Just as many customers would want to see.
Overall maximum dimensions: 134cmH x 78cmW x 73cmD, glass 116cmH x 59cmW. Could be hung in portrait or landscape.
In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, wear, repairs and imperfections, as is to be expected. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.
