The chair benefits from a comfortable high shaped back, which is padded and is secured by leather arms that are decorated with fine carved circular motifs, raised on splayed moulded supports. The armchair seat has been re-sprung therefore seat is firm but comfortable you do not sink into the seat. The underside of the seat features a traditional hessian backing. Elegantly shaped open fretwork spandrels, which connect the legs to the seat frame, can be seen under the seat. The armchair is raised on moulded square legs to the front, connected by an “H” stretcher for additional support, with splayed legs to the rear. The chair frame features a lovely rich brown mahogany colour.
