Impressive Georgian Gainsborough type open armchair c.1760. With a generously proportioned webbed seat and swept arm supports. Vintage burgundy leather upholstery with brass studwork. Solid mahogany frame with square legs joined with stretchers to each side. Good condition, very solid an sturdy with some earlier repairs and restorations to the frame.
