Georgian 19C mahogany leather elbow armchair
Antique Georgian Regency mahogany elbow chair with brown leather seat. This would make a great desk, hall or feature chair.
A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.
Lovely colour, age, patina and charm.
No significant woodworm.
Solid and strong, with no loose joints.
The seat upholstery is soft brown leather, not new or original, with some wear and marks.
Overall maximum dimensions
58cmW x 58cmD x 83cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. Historic structural repairs as one would expect, but all is solid now.
