Circa 1900. Unusual and stylish George III style oval gilded mirror. The top surmounted by an exuberant carved and gilded Prince of Wales plume with scrolling foliate to the sides, gilded wire with flower heads and tapering harebells down the sides, the base with scrolling rococo carving, flower heads and gilded wire. The oval mirror contained in a simple moulded slip with a stylish pattern on the facing.
