Circa 1740, George II carved giltwood mirror in the manner of William Kent. The top has foliate carving, with c-scrolls and s-scrolls held in place by a combination of shaped brackets. It has a small mirror separated by a gilded double beading above a large rectangular mirror and foliate rococo style full relief carvings down the sides with flowers and fruit. The base has similar c-scrolls and foliate carving.
