Gents large Omega marriage wrist watch
Gents large Omega marriage wrist watch.
The watch has been adapted from an antique Omega pocket watch. It measures 50mm diameter excluding the lugs and the winding crown. The case is 800 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside both of the case backs, together with the early Omega logo.
The front of the case is in good condition. The hinged case back has some unevenness.
The conversion work has been professionally carried out.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, signed with the Omega logo, which is working nicely.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
It seems that at the time of conversion a new dial was made. Again, a very professional job with enamelling, gilding and engraving. Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o'clock and red numerals around the perimeter.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
