A 1958 Omega Seamaster Automatic wristwatch. A very rare black dial, with gloss finish. The patina on this dial has the effect of gilt flecks in the dial, making it reflect differently depending on the lighting. Applied gilt 'dagger' hour markers, with Arabic quarters. The hours and minutes are indicated by gilt 'Dauphine' hands. Applied Omega logo with the script in a contrasting gilt finish. Signed Swiss made' to 6 o'clock.

A gold capped case with thick 'beefy' lugs and a snap on case back. An Omega winding crown. The back is marked 'Seamaster' to the surround. Case reference 2846 2848 4 SC.

The watch is powered by a 17 jewel caliber 501 Omega mechanism.. The 2m serial numbers date this watch to 1958.
