A top-notch late Victorian galleried tray made from fruit wood and silver plate.

The gallery is beautifully pierced or reticulated with stylish cut-out handles to each end. The tray sits of four magnificent and grand Lion's paw feet and the underside is fully marked for the well respected silversmiths, Thomas Latham and Ernest Morton of Birmingham.

The underside is also signed by the famous London retailer Selfridge & Co. London.

Dating to c.1890, it remains in excellent condition measuring 20 1/4" x 12 1/2" x 4 1/2" tall.
