French vintage Mannequin by Mele of Paris this is a original vintage Parisian fashion shop female dress form mannequin with a ebonised adjustable wooden stand dates to circa 1920s 1930s eras the linen body is stamped Mele of Paris one of the best makers of authentic French dress form mannequins
The number 44 size is stamped to the neck in English sizes it is a size 14
The body form bust shape has a slightly flatter shaping in keeping with lady's fashion design style shapes of the 1920s 1930s era
The mannequin was sourced from the historic Paris fabric and garment arrondissement district, it has a turned wood threaded knop to the neck and a separate ebonised telescopic wood column stand on flared legs.
The height setting can be adjusted using the brass turn key to lock the height position .
