A French Sycamore Book Rest, Reading or Music Stand, Lutrin

This is a charming piece, it is made in Sycamore and dates from the end of the 19th Century, it has been superbly hand crafted by a skilful master.

The base of the stand is set on a turned column, above this is set the flat book rest, there is an inlaid lozenge shape to the centre of this

A charming piece and in good condition, not only would it be a great recipe book stand but it would just as well hold a tablet device in a convenient place out of harms way

The stand is 15” high, 11” wide and the base is 10” in diameter
