French Marquetry Console Table
This is a very good quality and very decorative French louis xv style console table or games table, circa 1900 and in lovely condition.
Beautiful marquetry through the table and with a fine banded inlay, finished with all original mounts and brass inlaid around the serpentine edge.
The table has four decorative legs, with four original mounts as the table is in fact a games table with a twist and hinge top to reveal a green baize top...however, as a console table, I think this is stunning!
Made in walnut and satinwood, fully cleaned and polished, looking its best.
Measuring:
30” or 76cm high
32 3/4” or 83cm wide
17 3/4” or 45cm deep
Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £55, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
