French C19th Paint And Gilt Overmantle Mirror gilt mirror large mirror french mirror %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Unusual French c19th gilt and painted overmantle mirror.
Very decorative mirror with the garland plaque to the pediment and ribbons.
The bevelled mirror glass is the original and is in good condition with just some pitting spots to the glass, but no black blemishing.
The gilding has aged gracefully with some wear in areas and also the old French grey painted plaque to the top has aged nicely too with some wear, but nothing of any concern for a mirror of this age.

Would hang well as a hall mirror above a console table / chest but also lovely as an overmantle mirror.

Measuring:
66 1/2'' or 166.5cm high
43 1/4'' or 110cm wide
