French Bureau Plat Desk
This is a good quality french louis xv style "vintage" bureau plat or desk, with cabriole legs and carved drawer fronts ( to both sides so it can free stand ) and a parquet top, age wise circa 1950's
The desk is made in solid beech and has a dark walnut tone to it, though the top is paler through age and sun bleaching as you can see.
There are 5 drawers to the front and the rear drawers are "faux" drawers, so just decorative
Great size desk for everyday use and the glass top is good for protection too
Could be further polished or you could have it painted perhaps?
