A wonderful late nineteenth century French letter / stationery rack or holder made from solid Walnut and dating to around 1890.

The wood is smothered in the most wonderful and intricate classical brass mounts, skillfully re-polished to gleam.

There are three compartments, the full width compartment having an opening measuring 11 1/4". The underside has been re-covered in a green baize to protect your desk-top.

Excellent condition with an overall measurement of 13" x 4 3/4" x 11" tall at highest point.
