A very unusual French Brass Inlaid games table c1880.
The table acts as a side table when closed, and is decorated on all sides so could also sit centrally.
The top unusually slides to one side to open rather than the usual swivel mechanism allowing the table to be nearly 5' when open.
The single drawer opens to reveal a backgammon area and also a chessboard slide. A really unusual pice allowing for plenty of gaming fun...
Standing on elegant brass mounted fluted legs, this really is a stunning piece. A great addition for any gamer...
There are some age related marks...but nothing you wouldn't expect of a piece this age.
