Framed Lithograph Print of Frederick W. Robertson
Artist - Lithograph by T.H. Maguire (1821-1895) after the original by C.G. Basebe
Title - Fred W. Robertson
Details - Lithographic print. Proof copy. Published by W.H. Mason, Repository of Arts, 108 Kings Road, Brighton December 13th 1953. Frederick W. Roberston (1816-1853) was an Anglican minister whose sermons were published after his death. Mounted, glazed and framed in an antique frame.
Condition - Overall in good condition. The print is a little discoloured (tanned) with age and has some scattered foxing. It also has some marks, abrasions and some light staining. Please note that we have not removed it from the frame. The frame has some scuffing, knocking and wear as might be expected and some scratching and loss to the gilt paintwork. There is some shrinkage cracking to the corners.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image Size (Oval) - 38cm by 30cm
Frame - 63cm by 50.5cm, 3cm deep. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
