Attractive still life painting in oil on canvas by Parisian artist H. Lerand (b.1900). c.1950. A simple study of various fruits in a bowl and loose, on a stone tabletop with a foulded cloth, with a white plate and copper jug in the background. All against a soft shaded grey background. Signed H.Lerand in the lower left hand corner. Presented behind glass in a limed wooden frame with carved detail and pale slip. With repaired damage to the canvas at the top of the jug, otherwise excellent condition.
