A gorgeous original folk art, Victorian balance toy painted to both sides.
We would suggest French from the soldiers uniform?
Retaining it's beautifully paintwork with some rusting that does not detract, in fact rather enhances the superb look of this model.
This item being an original and not one of the widely produced reproduction available.
In excellent condition, finely balancing on a (later) hollow tube.
