A very pretty Victorian card case dating to the mid-nineteenth century.

The card case is covered with Mother of Pearl tiles with it's magical iridescent qualities. Each of the tiles both back and front are beautifully engraved and inked with a variety of exquisite floral sprays.

The push button used to release the lid and the hinge are all in perfect working order.

Dating to c.1860, the case remains in excellent condition measuring 4" x 3".
