Antique Flemish painting from 17th century. Oil framework on canvas depicting the art workshop of the circle of Jacques de Claeuw (1623 - 1694), signed on the globe (see photo). The lively representation of a seventeenth-century art studio. At the center of the master who, while paternalistic rests his left hand on the head of the young student, with the index of the right indicates the errors of the work he is sketching. Among sheets of drawings scattered and tests already performed, a globe represents the Dutch possessions conquered in the world. 19th century lacquered, non-coeval wooden frame.
