A fine 'oil on board' by Victorian artist Frederick Hines (British painter (1851-1922))
Offered in excellent condition presented within a fine (later) frame.
The frame displaying very minor age related wear.
Frederick Hines was a landscape artist in oils and watercolours, but painted in oils mainly in his early career.
Original label to rear records him as exhibiting at the Royal Academy from 1875 - 1897

Exhibited widely at Dudley Gallery, Dowdeswell Galleries, Grosvenor Gallery, Glasgow Institute, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, Manchester, Royal Academy, Royal Institute etc..
