A Superb & Original Mid 1960's Vintage Mirrored Glass Coffee Table.

With a fantastic 'long and low' profile, the thick cut glass top with a wonderful organic, 'ellipse' type shape, which carries a certain dynamism or motion. Inset from behind with a mirrored foil backing and an abstract arrangement of overlapping and dispersed ovals in red and black.

When lit from above, or, from certain angles, it can throw a silhouette of this design upwards, casting an enlarged or magnified display on the ceiling, as shown.

This is an original and authentic example from the mid to late 1960's and is expressly not a copy or modern reproduction.

The perfect finishing touch to your mid-century / retro cool interior, this table will be something you're pleased to use every day and will, no doubt, receive admiring comments from all those who see it.

Dimensions -

Approx 121cms long x 43 cms deep (at deepest point) x 34.5 cms high.

Condition -

The table has been used throughout its life, but carefully so. As a result, the condition can be described as very, very good althoughnot absolutely mint. There are a number of light surface marks and scratches. At certain angles, these are completely invisible, whilst at other angles they become more noticeable. In any case, after some 50+ years use, the surface can be said to have suffered minimal wear. The foil backing is also similarly good, with minimal deterioration, with only minor marking and pinholes around the edges in places.
