About as good as they come this is an excellent example, lovely quality by the well renowned silversmith, Mappin and Webb, each plate signed on the underside.

The frame has an integral handle to the top clad in braided cane, an unusual and very attractive feature.

Silver plated and dating to c.1910, it remains in superb condition. The footprint measures 10" x 7 3/4" and the frame stands 19" tall each plate measuring 8 1/4" in diameter. A substantial and impressive piece.
