Exceptional c19th French gilt bevelled mirror
An exceptional quality and beautiful condition French gilt Louis xvi style mirror, circa 1880.
Fabulous detail throughout the frame and garlands draped over the original mercury bevelled mirror plate.
The mirror has aged very gracefully, so it has retained its original gold leaf and had minimal touch ups or restoration. A real pleasure to see such a good quality mirror and in such good condition.
This mirror has such lovely proportions, so you could hang this as a console or pier mirror, but such a decorative piece that you could happily hang this on a large wall or mantle and it will look amazing.
Super mirror and wonderful original condition.

Height 42 1/2 inches for 108 cm
Width 28 1/2 inches for 72 cm
