A most unusual English sterling silver antique jewellery box with a rarely seen engraved tartan or plaid design to the lid. The box stands on four Art Deco style legs.

The box opens to reveal the original blue silk lining. The silver has a full English hallmark for Sheffield 1923 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, Brook and Son.

Excellent condition measuring 4" x 2 3/4" x 1 5/8" tall.
