A wonderful and scarce example of an Edwardian cake stand with three graduated dishes ranging from 7 1/2" in diameter / 6" and 4 3/4".

Each of the removable dishes is pierced or reticulated. The stand and all three dishes have matching marks for the well renowned silversmith, Martin Hall and Co.

Made from silver plate, it remains in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age dating to c.1900. The stand has a footprint measuring 9" x 9" and stands 17 1/2" tall.
