Elm Windsor armchair carver hall side dining chair
Antique elm Windsor arm chair with sought after crinoline stretcher.
A great chair with a lot of age and charm. We unsure of the exact age, but believe that it originates from the end of the 19th Century or the beginning of the 20C.
Lovely proportions and styling.
No significant woodworm.
Nice wear and patina to the arms.
Solid, with no loose joints.
Overall maximum dimensions
Chair 58cmW x 59cmD x 100cmH (45cmH seat).
Historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. There is an historical crack in the seat, but this is well glued and filled. There is some distortion in the legs/stretcher, but the chair sits flat on the floor without wobbling and all joints are solid/strong.
Stock No. 3198b.
