Elizabethan Portrait of a Lady Mezzotint Engraving
A rare original antique colour printed Mezzotint of an Elizabethan Lady,this example produced in 1929 by Museum Galleries of London.
Engraved by Arthur Hogg after Gabriel Metsu and signed in pencil bottom right corner "Arthur Hogg"
Produced on good quality hand made parchment paper by Museum Galleries,bearing company name watermark with date 1929.
First published in 1833 by Museum Galleries from 53 Shorts Garden London,as per inscription upper margin
Recently remounted and set inside a later wooden gilt frame with canvas lined border.
Carefully Preserved under glass and ready to hang.

Height 25.5 Inches
Width 21.5 Inches
CONDITION
Good clean condition under glass and sealed to preserve.
The off white parchment paper border is a little discoloured with minute foxing,but still respectable and has not been hidden with new card bordering.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
