This is a very good quality set of eight harlequin antique oak and ash country farmhouse spindle back rush seated dining chairs, circa 1780

This is a very good quality harlequin set of eight George antique oak and ash country farmhouse spindle back rush seated dining chairs, circa 1780 – 1800. The set consists of eight side chairs. All chairs boast graduated spindle shaped backs above hand woven rush seated seats. The base of the chairs feature turned legs and stretchers all round for strength (twin stretchers on the sides). The front stretcher is heavy and turned – a good sign of quality. All chairs are made from top quality oak and are firm and solid.

Condition Report
These chairs are in excellent condition and commensurate with the age of the chairs. All chairs are free of active wood worm, solid in joint (not lose or wobbly) and ready to use. The chairs have been re-rushed at some stage in the past with two different sets of rush seating. The rush seating on all chairs are complete without any significant damage all seats are in good condition. This is a harlequin set of chairs. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item.

A 7 day “no quibble” return policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. You will be given a refund as long as the item is returned in the same condition. The buyer is required to cover the cost of transit (the delivery cost). We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit. This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
