Edwin La Dell Huge Mid-Century Lithograph Print
Thomas Edwin La Dell (British. 1914 - 1970)
An Impressive and sought-after Lithographic Print, titled, 'Fishing at Marlow'.
A stunning, large-scale lithograph, right from the heart of the Mid-Century modern era. A wonderful and fun composition, depicting three gentleman fishing from a punt. One lands his catch, whilst another sits back, smoking a pipe. A 'keep net', containing the other fish they have caught, can be seen vanishing from sight, under the ripples of the water. A boathouse and other figures in the distance.

This is a large and imposing lithograph, capable of making a stand-out feature or focal point in a mid-century modern themed interior, or indeed any environment where there is an appreciation of 20th century art.
Please note, the print is shot both within and out of the frame. I am currently having a new, narrow mount cut (the images of the print within the frame do not show this new mount, but I will update the images when it is in place).
Dimensions -
Unframed, the sheet measures 99.5 cms x 75.5 cms.
Condition -
Overall, fair - good, the print still displays well and remains a very striking and impressive image.
The image itself has survived very well with good colour and definition. The border reveals some age related wear and discolouration, as clearly photographed. The paper was stapled at each corner in the distant past.
There is one minor blemish / tear which encroaches into the image itself. This is located to the extreme lower right, just above the number '6'.
