Antique Edwardian Mahogany Side or Desk Chair dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a bowed top rail with carved and pierced central back splat with curved armrests leading to a shaped front support. Below the armrest are beautifully carved and pierced supports. With a deep serpentine shaped stuff over seat covered in a satin fabric with satinwood inlay to the frame below. standing on squared tapering legs on a spade foot.The chair is finely inlaid with a satinwood stringing to the back, arms and legs.

Measures 37" high x seat height 17" x 22" deep x 23" wide

A most attractive Edwardian Mahogany Desk or side chair of quality and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
