Edwardian Mahogany Armchair for Recovering
An upholstered antique Edwardian mahogany armchair dating from circa 1905 stamped CVS (Cornelius V Smith). Elegantly shaped chair with sprung seat, it has stringing decoration and stands on tapered legs with brass casters. A very stylish armchair in need of recovering / reupholstery.
Cornelius V. Smith was 19th Century London cabinetmaker, who operated at Marshalls yard, Henry St, Hampstead Rd, London.

Mahogany
Condition Report:
Frame solid and sturdy. An old mend to lower section of leg (see photo). Upholstery fair condition, but fabric old and tired with marks. Would benefit recovering or reupholstery.
