Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Serpentine Tray antique Edwardian tray %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This lovely antique tray dates from c.1910. It is constructed from mahogany with satinwood string inlay and a marquetry inlaid panel in the centre featuring flowers. The tray has a lovely shape and is of superb quality. It retains its brass handles at either side, although one is a little loose. Please note that the tray has been photographed on an easel which is not included in the sale.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and a heavier marked patch to one side of the inside of the tray. The inside of the tray also has some scratching. One of the brass handles is a little loose.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
71cm long (handle to handle), 45cm wide, 2.5cm high (not including handles). Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
